![]() Then March comes and I receive another invoice. February comes around and I recieve a 2nd invoice. On january 2023 I was prompted for payment, and I declined payment, I emailed Houzz and told them I would not be interested in therir services anymore. Thats number 1.Number 2 is, I paid for a years worth of service in January of 2022. Nothing wrong with any of this, except for some minor dishonesty about the extent to which leads would come in. I received one lead in the 16 months of which there was no reply from the customer. I was told I would be receivning leads as a portion of the service I was paying for. I subscribed to Houzz pro in January of 2022. Still waiting on a call from my assigned ********* that they have forced my hand into another signed contract, I expect I will be dealing with this issue again in a year. I don't understand why you can't simply cancel something you are not using. Their customer service is inadequate, and they make you feel like you are in jail with their contract. I have asked for proof that they have not sent me to collections but have yet to receive this. The new form I had to sign even says another 12 months with auto renewal even though I have an email from a representative stating it is set up for auto-renewal. My cc was updated and now I feel forced into another 12-month contract for a service that I AM NOT USING. Most people recommend collections after 90 days and I was waiting to update to negotiate in hopes of getting out of a contract. I received a notification I would be sent to collections after 45 days if my cc was not update. This is an inconvenient way to take care of a customer, especially when multiple emails were sent. In order to actually speak with someone, they send you a link to schedule the call. They assigned me with a representative that then informed me that I was automatically renewed, and I needed to bring my account up to date, otherwise they would send me to collection. The email kicked back and several other emails came and I also emailed back saying I wanted to cancel and my cc on file was compromised, There was no 30 day notification that I needed to cancel before. There is no great way to get ahold of anyone from this company. Early march I emailed back that I wanted to cancel after they tried charging the cc on file. My credit card on file was compromised and I did not update it with HOUZZ, as I never used their pro service and wanted to cancel. March 2022, I started a Subscription for a HOUZZ Pro account, with a term of 12 months. If I do not receive this I will be contacting an attorney. ![]() I expect a termination of my contract and a full refund of the money I spent. I was not spoken with transparency or honesty. ![]() This is completely NOT true under any circumstances. Nothing I do when I search on ****** using the term Houzz custom cabinetry, NOTHING I do when I am on the HOUZZ website, only shows me and ********************. So that would, I think if we could get you set up with that, that would be great." Then she goes on.THIS IS COMPLETELY NOT TRUE. What it's going to do, is you would be ONE of 2 in that market, so, even just showing up as another cabinet pro, you are going to show up."AND HERE IS THE MAIN POINT AND PROBLEM, SHE SAYS THE FOLLOWING:"When someone in your market looks for a cabinetry professional, someone to do their custom cabinetry, or have their custom cabinetry, something to that effect, YOU ARE GOING TO COME UP ONE OF TWO IN THE ONLINE DIRECTORY. Let's take a look at what they got going on. A few moments later she says, "There is ONE other cabinetry company out there, ********************, you know them? So that's the guy doing the cabinetry, we have them listed as a cabinet company. Please notice the transcript in part, since this was a long conversation. And here I quote the conversation with her, "I can still do cabinetry for like we said, for *****, because there is ONLY ONE PRO DOING THAT."I then ask her what it looks like for the other companies as far as leads. I reached out to Houzz and they provided a recording of the conversation which I am in possession of. She made it clear that there was only one company listed under cabinets and cabinetry. This includes cabinet refacing, kitchen remodelers, custom cabinetry. I signed a contract with Houzz as a pro to begin May 1, 2023.When I spoke with *************************, the Houzz Representative, she made it clear that I would not have many competitors in my industry.
